With the help of our volunteers, we can go from strength to strength delivering invaluable support, making constant improvements to our service providing support to grieving children and their families, across the whole of Northamptonshire.

Volunteer Opportunities

We have a number of volunteer opportunities here with The Never Alone Project.

Some can be done from the comfort of your own home and some face to face at our monthly group meets.   We are sure we can find you a role based upon your skills, experience or wishes.  Here are some ways you can get involved:

  1. Fundraising/events If you like nothing better than organising a jumble sale, tombola or raffles, then this may be the area for you!
  2. Support Group Assistant. If you have a natural affinity around children and young people, then being part of our children’s and teens groups may be the area for you!  Getting stuck in to activities such as arts and crafts, playing board games or den building may result in encouraging others with their creative or problem-solving skills.
  3. Grief Café. If you prefer talking and listening to others and feel your passion lies in the area of being a ‘Heart with Ears’, then this may be the area for you!
  4. Administration Roles. If you prefer to be a ‘silent angel’ and tenaciously plough on with those paperwork tasks, then your hard-work will always be recognised.
  5. Social Media/ Marketing/ Other skilled areas. We do our best to support the community, however, we have a lot of areas that could really benefit with a bit more attention. So, if you are an Instagram pro, or know just how to get the right eyes on what we have to offer, we’d love to hear from you.

And more…
